Applies when non-emergency BLS transportation, assessment, or intervention is provided by licenses Emergency Medical Technicians.
With or without transport.
Applies when emergency (immediate response made to 911 or equivalent call) BLS transportation, intervention, or assessment is provided by licensed Emergency Medical Technician.
Applies when non-emergency ALS assessment or at least one ILS/ALS intervention is provided by a licensed EMT-I (Intermediate) or an EMT-P (Paramedic).
With or without transport.
Applies when emergency (immediate response to a 911 or equivalent call) ILS/ALS assessment or at least one ALS intervention is provided by a licenses EMT-I (Intermediate) or a licensed EMT-P (Paramedic).
Applies when as a result of emergency (immediate response to a 911 or equivalent call), at least three different ILS/ALS medications by intravenous push/bolus or by continuous infusion are administered or; when the same ILS/ALS medication is administered three time or; when one or more of the following ILS/ALS procedures are provided: manual defibrillation/cardioversion, endotracheal intubation, central venous line, pacing, chest decompression, surgical airway, advance invasive airway, or intraosseous access.
Applies when emergency services (immediate response made to a 911 or equivalent call) are provided by certified Emergency Medical First Responders, and above, with no transport. *A patient evaluation may, or may not, be conducted.
This charge is also the equivalent of a "Treat and Release."
Mountainair Fire & Rescue may impose additional charges for the use of advanced airway interventions and supplies, multiple intravenous fluids or medications, advanced splints, and/or immobilizers, as these services may require extra supplies and resources beyond standard care fees assessed above.
Applies to each patient (loaded) mile, from scene to facility.
Please Note: Depending on your location (scene), transport mileage may vary. On average, mileage from scene to facility is 75 miles.
Applies to EMS Services/Standby, applicable to Rodeo Events, Sporting Events, School Functions, etc.
Upon arrival, Mountainair EMS makes every attempt possible to collect adequate patient and billing information, this information is in turn utilized to bill adeqautely to any insurance provider you may have, if applicable. However, if no correct insurance provider and/or insurance information is found, Mountainair EMS, c/o Mountainair Fire & Rescue will directly bill the patient and/or patient guarantor.
Mountainair EMS also imposes Late Fees and NSF (Non-Sufficent Funds) of $35.00 for each occurance.
Effective 04/01/2025, Mountainair Fire & Rescue proudly bills EMS Services In-House, utilizing a Safe and Secure Web-Based Medical Billing Platform.
