Cost of Providing Records

As permitted by the Inspection of Public Records Act, Procedure for Inspection 14-2-9 (NMSA 1978), the Town of Mountainair will charge for copying records in accordance with the fee schedule published by the Custodian. If the estimated cost exceeds ten dollars ($10), the Custodian should provide an estimate of the charges and shall require advance payment before making copies. 

As of August 20, 2024, the fees are as follows:

• $1.00 per page to scan, copy, or fax any printed page.
• $10.00 for each storage device (thumb drive/flash drive). This fee may be waived if requester brings their own FACTORY PACKAGED AND SEALED storage device.
• Actual cost of postage.
